Participation game

Developing a giant board game that teaches about the Participation Act in a playful manner.

A board game full of big surprises! As an introduction to the state of affairs with regard to the Participation Act, we developed this board game as a playful learning experience.

Game development

Together with  Nieuwenburg Sfeer & Events and illustrator Tom van der Heiden we were commissioned to develop a huge limited-edition board game. Following the pre-defined game concept, we though out every detail of the game experience and developed it visually. The result is a 100 x 100 cm board showing a large island with a path on which several tasks have to be completed.

Game elements

To create the ultimate gaming experience, the game is accompanied by character pawns, character cards, assignment cards, question cards, coins and rewards as proof of the achievements. The game leader also has their own set of cards to give the right assignments when a player lands on a challenge. Illustrator Tom created the characters and brought the island to life. The board game was produced by Be-ink from Hoofddorp.
